So'barber

I was quite overdue for a haircut, and I was happy with my haircut last time I was here, so I came back and asked for the same barber.

The shop has four chairs, although one of the chairs didn’t have a barber today, probably because it was approaching lunchtime. I made an appointment online, which is incredibly easy, and the barber was just finishing with his previous client when I arrived.

In addition to the haircut, I had my beard trimmed and reshaped, something I typically don’t do in the U.S. because of the price. Somewhat unusually, they don’t use hot shaving cream here, but rather a cooling shaving gel, to which I’m getting accustomed.

After about a half hour in the chair, I left the shop looking great and even smelling great after a few spritzes of the aftershave they use.
